Meet our Model Of The Month, Monday Matthew! Monday Matthew, also known as Matt K, is a Lagos based, Nigerian model from Kogi state. He is a Computer Science graduate from Caritas University, Enugu. Monday is 24 years old, born in October 4th and he is a Libra. His modeling career already counts 3 years. He is Mr Nigeria International 2015 and he is represented by NISM and MME model agencies. Monday’s measurements are: 6 ft 3 inches or 192.064 cm height, 70 kg or 154 pounds weight, 37 cm chest. What I personally love about Monday is his good poise! Here’s what Monday said to MrsHustle: MrsHustle: What or who inspired you to become a model? Monday: I was inspired by my physic, look, height and also i got to mingle with people who are into fashion, who inspired me. MrsHustle: What is the best thing about being a model? Monday: You get to meet, inspire, empower lots of people and also you will learn from great people. MrsHustle: What are the qualities of a good model? Monday: Charisma, personality, etiquette, body shape, height, confidence, etc. MrsHustle: Who has influenced you the most in your life? Monday: My mom. MrsHustle: What is your passion? Monday: To be a successful actor, model, entertainer. MrsHustle: How would you define your personal style? Monday: I would define this in one word – UNIQUE! MrsHustle: Who is your fashion icon? Monday: Nick Wooster. MrsHustle: Do you eat nutritiously? How often do you exercise or go to the gym? Monday: Yes, i try to have a balanced diet and i go to the gym like 4 times a week. MrsHustle: What do you like doing in your spare time? Monday: Play around! MrsHustle: Where do you like hanging out? Monday: I love hanging out in the mall, where i get to see different styles and trends. MrsHustle: You can’t live without? Monday: I can’t live without God! MrsHustle: What is your most favourite item in your wardrobe? Monday: My gold chain! I don’t know why i don’t joke with it. MrsHustle: What do you think of Nigerian fashion and Nigerian designers? Monday: They are really good. I am also working with some creative designers at the moment, they are awesome. MrsHustle: Who is your favourite fashion designer? Monday: James Ogbaloi (Mr Nigeria International 2012), that guy is the best. MrsHustle: Who are your role models in the industry? Monday: Bode George, Noah Millz, David Gandy. MrsHustle: As a model, what is your unique selling point? Monday: My height and body structure. MrsHustle: You are Mr Nigeria International 2015, how does that feel? Were you expecting to win? Monday: No, no, no! I was not expecting it and at the same time i was scared. I always pray to God for victory and the day i won the title it was my birthday, so it’s God’s doing. Despite the challenges in the camp, i still came out as the winner. MrsHustle: How much has your life changed after winning this title? Monday: It has really changed, because everything i do now is just about success and many people look up to me as a role model. People wanna get empowered through me. MrsHustle: What advice would you give to young men who aspire to become a pageant king like you? Monday: Consistency and confidence are key. They also have to be prayerful, have a good etiquette and be poised, but most importantly they have to be themselves! MrsHustle: What is your personal quote? Monday: In any situation you find yourself, you just have to glorify God.
