MH PRESENTS: BABCOCK UNIVERSITY FASHION WEEK 2014

Theme: CREATIVITY MEETS STYLE is an ANNUAL showcase of culture, decent dressing, bold and captivating creativity from the university students who want to promote their collections. The BABCOCK UNIVERSITY FASHION WEEK 2014 is a much anticipated event to Babcock University students.

The event is much more than glamour and excitement, but an event that primarily campaign against indecent dressing on campus and also brings together student fashion designers within the institution who will showcase their collections. This will serve as a base and spring board for the student designers to seize the opportunity for a career launch before and after graduating from the institution with a mindset of decency and culture.

The entire event period will be filled with fanfare and activities that will draw attention to and bring goodwill to the institution. Some of the expected activities include: Fashion Shows, Exhibitions, Workshops, Career Talk, Motivational Talks, Training, Awards and Competitions.

Runway showcase for 10 seasoned designers
20 Runway models (male and female)
- Comedy and Endorsement from known celebrities ( Akanlaff, Phroneses, Don Witty (BU Alumni), 16 Oniru (BU Alumni)
- Guest: Simply Saka (MTN Ambassador), FADAN EXCOS (fashion design association of Nigeria), Clara Okoro (CEO Brand World/Editor-in-Chief Ice Magazine), Orange Academy, Yes Fashion UK, African Fashion League, House of Twitch, Models n Vogue, Black n Bold
Exhibition by Corporate brands, fashion accessory makers/retailers
Red carpet
Multimedia workshop (empowerment, mentorship, entrepreneurship, training, seminar etc)
Network platform for corporate brands
