Here’s what Adonis said to MrsHustle:

MrsHustle: What or who inspired you to become a model?

Adonis: I was never interested in modeling, I was a footballer and unfortunately I got injured. I thought I could act so decided to use the road of modeling to get there, however many wish me not to give up on the modeling. I prefer to just act though.

MrsHustle: Why do you like modeling?

Adonis: lol! I don’t like runway and many other aspects of modeling, but I am naturally creative and I like the creative part of editorial work.

MrsHustle: Who has influenced you the most in your life?

Adonis: My parents, but most recently and significantly was God and my experience that I had and continue to have with God.

MrsHustle: What is your passion?

Adonis: My passion is knowing myself more and more, laughing till it hurts and accomplishing things that one would think impossible to obtain.

MrsHustle: Describe your fashion style

Adonis: Grown up, smart and sexy… never loud.

MrsHustle: Who is your fashion icon?

Adonis: I don’t have one.

MrsHustle: How often do you work out?

Adonis: Twice a week, three times if I have the time.

MrsHustle: What do you like doing in your spare time?

Adonis: I love watching movies with loads of junk food, sweets, chocolate, marshmallows and hot chocolate, ice cream and Chinese take away 🙂 love it!

MrsHustle: Where do you like hanging out?

Adonis: My cousin has a show called “Something for Sunday”, where you get to see great comics, poets and singers, it’s a great vibe with lovely people too.

MrsHustle: You can’t live without?

Adonis: My way of thinking.

MrsHustle: What is your most favourite item in your wardrobe?

Adonis: A very expensive top I bought from Camden in London, you can see me wearing it on the sporah show in my interview 🙂

MrsHustle: Who is your favourite fashion designer?

Adonis: I really don’t have one, I look for things I like rather than the names of the people who made them.

MrsHustle: What do you think of African fashion and African designers?

Adonis: They’re coming up vastly and I also see many European designers incorporating their styles within their own.

MrsHustle: How does it feel like being Mr. Africa International 2012?

Adonis: It’s a pleasure and an honour, yet, whether I won or not, nothing changes for me, I already know my worth with my fingerprints already on stars I am yet to reach 🙂

MrsHustle: What are your future aspirations?

Adonis: To be a very successful author, businessman, actor, artist and humanitarian.

MrsHustle: What is your personal quote?

Adonis: Stay beautiful inside and out.

MrsHustle: Thank you Adonis!

Adonis: Thank you too!
